Andreya was born in Lancashire in 1979, as a child she was always drawing and highly sensitive to colour; the sides of her hands and arms were usually covered in a rainbow of felt tip ink.
Andreya undertook her Fine Art training in the Hanover studios at the University of Central Lancashire, graduating with honours in 2002. During her four years there, she took the opportunity to travel every summer, and lived for a brief spell in Cyprus where she gazed at the stars, drew, painted, swam at midnight and wrote wistful post-teenage poetry.
